I decided in the early stages of the build to try to keep a era or topic for my traction however this soon went out the window when I visited a couple of model shows and saw the massive range of second hand items available from this I decided to have 3 collections
1 from my child hood days I wanted to have my old models back from the ages of 11 - 16
2 I live and spent thousands of hours on the Teesside Railway scene and wanted models from that area
3 I decided to have my layout based around the preservation scene and to go for 1986 - 1991 for me this is the best of my railway years in terms of the amount of traction available and the differant colours and liveries during this time I try to have an example of each class of loco,with standard examples of livery carried this will be a never ending project but we do need an interest and a couple of unique liveries added
